Winston Cooke is the caretaker of Oak Park Cemetery and friend/assistant to Gravestone.
Bio
Winston moved to New Prairie in 1971, where he took a job as the caretaker of Oak Park Cemetery. In 1986, he found the body of Nathan Myers lying in an open grave and took it down into the catacombs, which rejuvenated Nathan's broken body. After that, Winston told Nathan of the life he was now to lead and how, if he wished to stay alive, he would have to live in the catacombs.
Over the next few years, Winston taught Nathan how to fight, protect himself, and use the new “powers” he had gained from the catacombs.
In 1995, he personally buried Vinnie Sporteino in the cemetery, and to this day, he is the only one who knows the location of the grave. Between 1974 and 1980, he had on numerous occasions spotted the Dark Killer roaming the cemetery late at night and walking around one particular grave. Winston later identified the grave as belonging to Sofia Balfone.
