Leon Portman was a professional hitman/sniper and the husband of Hillary Portman.

Bio
A Knack For Shooting
At the age of 5, shot his first gun with his father during deer hunting season. Found that he had a perfect eye for shooting and nearly ever missed a single target. Met Zeus Tuscar in 1978 while doing a job one evening and the two quickly became good friends. Leon later found that Zeus was an excellent driver and together the two formed a partnership as hired hitmen.
Meeting Hillary and Starting A Family
In 1986, Leon met Hillary Quercioli, they engaged 2 years later, and married in 1989. They moved from Chicago to New Prairie in 1990, with Zeus tagging along. There, they lived happily, while Leon secretly continued to do his sniping as extra on the side.
In 1994, Leon found that Hillary was pregnant with their first child. Overly excited, he treated all their friends to a night long celebration. 2 days later, Hillary was murdered in the parking lot of Hazdon Industries by an unknown assailant, utterly devastating Leon. He promised Hillary on the day of her burial that he would find the person who killed her and make them suffer.
A Lead On Hillary's Death
A year later, still a broken shell of his former self, Leon visited his wife’s grave, still no closer to finding the truth than the year prior. Later that night, he received a phone call from a Flamenco T. Chille, who offered him a deal that would let him retire forever from the snipping business. He was told all he needed to do was snipe four security guards in a vehicle and four others would steal a small item from inside the vehicle.
He accepted and did his part of the job only to find that the others never showed. Getting antsy, he inspected the van and the bodies of the four he killed only to find that it was Zeus, Bobbie, Simon Sinclaire, and Nikki Harrison. Totally distraught for what he’d done, he took the briefcase from inside the van and fled to the intended meeting place where he met with Chille. There, Chille revealed his true identity of Mitchell Falcone, the murdered of Hillary.
Leon realized that he’d been tricked into killing his friends. Falcone revealed his masterful plan of bringing down Hazdon Industries by using his formula (which was the item stolen). Leon snapped, chased Falcone down, and killed him using the same method in which Falcone had killed HILLARY. Finally completing the promise he made to Hillary, Leon grabbed the briefcase and headed off to Hazdon.
Arriving there, he left the briefcase and a small note for Jack Rupert and left. No one has seen him since.
