Met Chandler Bingham in 1987 and became good friends with him. Later that same year had her first crush on Dominic Tracy, the “bully” of the school, which became short lived after he pushed her into a puddle of mud in front of the rest of the school.
In her Senior year, she became infatuated with Dominic again, but after dating for a short time, she broke up with him after finding out some “unneeded” info from her cousin Elle LaBelle. She dated Chandler for a year until the following summer when she and Dominic made up and got back together. A short time later, Dominic was killed in a freak car accident.
