Meeting Leon
After graduating high school, Hillary worked various odd jobs around New Prairie before moving to Chicago in 1984. While in the city, she met Leon Portman in 1986, who proposed to her in 1988. Hillary responded that she wouldn't accept until he proved he was serious. Four days later, he proved his love, and she accepted. They married in 1989.
