Plot

Stewart Filcher finds himself standing outside of St. Murphy’s Church waiting for the love of his life Sofia Balfone. When he confronts her, he presents her a small gift (that of a wedding ring), and asks her to marry him. She refuses his request, concerned about his instability and what her father would think. She leaves Stewart to himself, leaving the ring behind as well. Stewart stands, hating the world and everyone in it. During this time, he lets the growing darkness within, that he's been keeping at bay, take him over thus becoming the Dark Killer.
