Immigrated to the states in 1914. Traveled to Chicago in 1915, then moved to the land that eventually would become New Prairie in 1917. Became the first mayor of New Prairie, which lasted from 1918 to 1929. In 1929, he was found on the front steps to St Murphy's Church, covered in blood and talking about the Dark Killer killing his family, who were found to be brutality murdered at his home. He was committed to the newly opened Rhenderelli Asylum in 1930 as it’s first occupant, staying in Cell 17. He was studied over the next 6 years until he was strangled to death in his cell by an unknown person.
