Tanner Greene is a pharmacutical rep for Opul Manufacturing and friend of Vinny Colombo.
Bio
Accidental Involvement
In June 2015, Tanner went to deliver a new batch of "off the books" drugs to his friend Vinny Colombo. During the transaction, Vinny accidentally took a hit of a bad batch of drugs and immediately died. Realizing what had happened, Tanner attempted to flee but was stopped by a pair of hitmen sent there to kill Vinny personally.
Thinking Tanner had beat them to it, the hitmen took Tanner to see Don Spreezy, the man who personally put the hit out on Vinny awhile back. Don Spreezy congratulated Tanner on completing the job and paid him the reward before offering him another hit. Confused, Tanner accepted and was dropped off in a parking garage downtown New Prairie where he was to kill Cheryl Marroquín (for unknown reasons). Not really wanting to kill her, Tanner attempted to reason with her only to find she wanted nothing to do with him and fled. Chasing her down, the two ran across a police officer who got the wrong idea about the situation and pulled a gun on Tanner. Tanner, showing he had a gun but not wanting to use it, accidentally fired it at the officer, killing him.
Taking an unconscious Cheryl back to her car with the intention of getting her to safety, Tanner gave her some pills he thought would relax her. Instead they killed her on the spot.
