Trivia
- The production of the film took 3 1/2 years to complete, almost costing Levi Trevino his life savings and his health.
- When production began, the cast was informed the movie would be complete within 3 months. However, when budgetary issues arose, many cast members left, assuming the film was a dud, even though only a 1/3 of it had been filmed. This resulted in many of the characters' strange absences throughout the film.
- The popular fan theory that "The Figure" was actually Terry's long forgotten Uncle, whom she mentions off-handily during the drive to the resort. It wasn't until Part 3 that the concept of "The Motherboard" was introduced and that "The Figure" was a previous IT Specialist all along.
