Episode 7 & 8 flesh out

Completing Episode 7: "Search & Seizure" (or "Trash Diving")

  • Webcam Intro: Graham complains about people who hoard useless junk in their cars, hypocritically ignoring his own messy car.
  • The Backseat Search: Picks up right where your draft stopped. Graham continues tossing out garbage (old fast-food bags, broken stakes, a singular roller skate) into Alex's lap while driving. Alex keeps nagging him about how important Kathryn’s amulet is and how they are heading straight to Oak Park Cemetery without any leverage or weapons.
  • The Finding: Graham finally pulls out the glowing red pendant from under an empty pizza box, acting completely unimpressed ("Oh, this shiny trinket? I thought it was a air freshener").
  • The Arrival at Oak Park Cemetery: They pull up to the iron gates of Oak Park Cemetery at night. Just as Alex reaches to take the pendant to examine it, Max Wolfram (the over-the-top hunter from Episode 5) suddenly leaps onto the hood of Graham's car in full tacticool gear.
  • Cliffhanger / Ending: Max demands Graham hand over the pendant so he can claim the credit for defeating Kathryn the Red. Alex panics, Graham slams the gas or locks the doors, and Max pulls out a crossbow/blade, setting up an immediate three-way confrontation at the gates of the cemetery.

Episode 8: "Graveyard Shift" (Season 1 Finale)

  • Webcam Intro: Graham speaks solemnly into the webcam about how true slayers aren't defined by fancy leather dusters or professional gear, but by "pure, unadulterated luck... and occasionally running vampires over with a sedan."
  • The Cemetery Showdown: Graham, Alex, and Max bicker outside the crypts of Oak Park Cemetery. Max tries to take control, but Kathryn the Red and her vampire henchmen emerge from the shadows, surrounding the trio.
  • The Turn / Mistaken Identity: Kathryn demands the pendant. Graham tries to hand it over to get rid of her, but Max accidentally knocks it out of his hand, sending it skittering across the stone floor into a dark mausoleum. In the ensuing chaos, Max tries to do a flashy combat roll and gets immediately knocked out or pinned down by a vampire.
  • Accidental Victory: Alex panics and throws whatever he has in his hands—which happens to be a wooden stake Graham made out of a toothpick or a piece of junk from the backseat—stabbing Kathryn's main enforcer. Graham, trying to scramble away, inadvertently trips a gravestone or tomb mechanism (or hits Kathryn with his car's high beams/flashlight), forcing Kathryn to retreat into the fog, promising revenge.
  • Resolution & Cliffhanger: Max wakes up, thoroughly humiliated that Graham "saved" the night again (even though Graham did it entirely by accident). Denise shows up on a scooter or walking up, completely fine, asking why they left her out of the fun. Graham gloats about his "flawless victory," takes full credit as New Prairie's premier Slayer, and the season ends on Graham looking at the camera, completely unaware that Kathryn is watching him from the treeline for Season 2.
