The New Prairie Police Department is the core police protection unit for the city of New Prairie.
Location
The central unit building is located 3 blocks south west of the Derelli Towers at 120 Waynewood View, New Prairie.

Patch Design
Shape: A classic Midwestern rounded-bottom shield with a sharp, squared header.
Border: A thick, tightly embroidered gold-tinsel merrowed border.
Top Header: Bold, navy-blue block lettering reading "NEW PRAIRIE" arches along a cream-colored top canvas.
The Centerpiece Shield: Set against a split background matching the city flag's horizontal color layout: Deep Navy Blue on top, a solid Forest Green stripe at the baseline.
Superimposed over the skyline is a bright gold rendering of the City Seal’s scales of justice, ensuring civic authority dominates the visual.
Bottom Scroll: A gold ribbon cutting across the forest-green grass baseline reading "POLICE".
Police Vehicles
The Retro Fleet (1980s–Mid 1990s)
All vehicles were standard square-body Ford Crown Victoria LTDs. They were painted in a traditional "Midnight & Cream" two-tone paint scheme. The roof, doors, and rear pillars are a solid cream white, while the hood, trunk, and fenders remain midnight black. Along each side is a continuous solid dark-blue vinyl strip running along the beltline from the front wheel well to the taillights.
The official city seal is centered on the front doors. Arching above it in a reflective gold-leaf sans-serif font is "NEW PRAIRIE", with a horizontal bar underlining it and "POLICE" printed sharply below. On the rear quarter panel, right next to the trunk seam, is the city's official post-fire motto: "Ex Cineribus, Progressus" ("Out of the Ashes, Progress") in small, understated typography.
The Modernized Fleet (Late 1990s–2020s)
As part of the modernization of the fleet, the vehicles were slowly switched over to the new Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors. Their color schemes changed as well, becoming either all-black stealth or sharp solid-white cruiser body styles.
Along the sides, a sweeping forward-slanting geometric wrap featuring a dark navy blue primary shard outlined with a thin forest green metallic pin-stripe, mimicking the city map's terrain borders. High-visibility, crisp, reflective white, bold block text "NPPD POLICE" runs across the side profile.
