Barbara Roche is a former news reporter, current owner of WNPX Channel 4 out of New Prairie. She is the biggest supporter of Capes in the Midwest, using their abilities to help grow WNPX and its sister news companies into one of the largest in the country.
Bio
Early Days
Barbara grew up a loner, never able to make many friends and often left behind at parties and school events. In 2000, when she started school at James T. Welks High School, she came across Clive Kaden, a sophomore to her freshman, who had already established himself as a "cool guy" in school. He was polite to her, but despite her attempts at talking to him, he didn't respond to her advances.
College Years & Emergence of Powers
Barbara attended UW-Madison from 2004 to 2008 to get a degree in journalism. While spending her time there, she remained the quiet girl she had always been until one day in 2007, when, while eating at a new restaurant, she unknowingly inhaled an aerosolized version of Formula 627. Over the next few days, Barbara thought she had caught food poisoning and stayed in bed with increasingly painful migraines and internal body aches. On day three of the discomfort, she suddenly awoke to find her pain was gone. Thinking she had worked through the bug, she started attending her classes again.
