In 1993, Matt met Karri Foster during a blind date. They dated for almost 2 years before becoming engaged to one another in the winter of 1994.
Bank Robbery
On January 1st, 1995, Matt and Karri were hired to rob the Stewart Savings & Loan Bank. A week later, Karri acquired a job at the bank and began learning the layout and daily operations.

Rhenderelli and Jail Time
Afterwards, they were arrested for attempted robbery and taken to Rhenderelli Asylum to undergo treatment for their wounds. 6 months later they are released and soon after trialed for their crime, to which they were sentenced 5 years in jail for. They’re released a year early for good behavior.
