Kingdom of Ends, is a short detective/mystery film about a cop confronting his greatest foe.
Plot synopsis
A detective has finally caught his greatest foe, a serial killer by the name of Dr. Buddy Kant. During the interrogation, Kant reveals his joy for killing his victims, especially that of the detective's former partner. As their argument heats up, the world around them starts to crumble, leaving the Detective in a state of frustration and hopelessness.

Trvia
- The short was made for the Madison 48 Hour Film Project.
- Both sides of the interrogation scene were filmed from the same side of the table, with the actors simply flipping sides.
- The entire short was filmed at a single location, the same as Unknown Spectre the following year.
- The initial connection to the New Prairie universe was done through the set decorating. The paperwork within each case file beared the watermark of the "New Prairie Police Department".
