Investigating, and with the help of Sonny Bellini, Jake finds that Fanucci had previously setup a meeting to exchange a large amount of cocaine. Fanucci was last seen leaving Chicago, to go to said meeting, but hadn't been seen returning and the cocaine was no where to be found.

			A short while later, Sonny was contacted by Sporteino asking for help finding someone to sell off a bunch of cocaine. Sonny told Jake, who with Hoyt decided the best way to find out what happened to Fanucci was to go undercover as someone who would be interested in purchasing the drugs from Sporteino and gain his trust in hopes of him confessing he caused Fanucci's death.

			The two decided the best way would be or Jake to go undercover as [[Tom Cortini]].
