	[[Winnie McCauliffe]] is filling in as lead reporter for the missing [[Barbara Roche]] when she argues with station president [[Xavier Wakefield]] reguarding the "slanderous" reporting against the [[Capes]] on the air. Xavier says that with Barbara missing, he's decided to report the truth about the Capes instead of glossing over the truth like Barbara often did.

	After everyone has gone home for the night, Xavier returns to his office to find Barbara, distressed and beaten but alive. She seems confused and not thinking clearly as she tells Xavier that no one needs him anymore. In a fit of anger, she tells him to jump out a window and against his own will, he does. Scared of what's she's done, Barbara immediately calls the police and pretends [[Clive Kaden\|Clive]] is there attacking her and Xavier before throwing him out the window.

== Plot ==
