Around 588AD, a great evil known as the [[Vicci]], wandered the world possessing the likes of many and taking control of civilizations. As years went by, turmoil started from within the group and a faction broke off realizing they had become too powerful for their own good. This faction, who later became known as [[Nectite|The Nectites]], revolted and tried to end the evil power of their former fellow men by using a powerful spell to destroy the Vicci.

Instead of destroying the Vicci for good, the spell stripped the evil power from their bodies leaving behind evil ghost-like energy which quickly spread across the land. Watching as the evil energy started destroying the area around them, the Nectites vowed to capture and banish the evil energy and prevent it from destroying others.

When The S.H.A.D.O.W. were starting to lose their energy after millenia of life, they decided to start an attack on the mountain to harness it's power in order to regrow themselves. This attack occured in the Spring of 1995, however was ultimately stopped by Gravestone and Waxgirl.
